Honest comparison
Sales Kriya vs Anthropic Skills.
If you're weighing Sales Kriya against Anthropic's account-research skill, the honest read is that these are not the same shape of tool. The skill is free, fast, and a good first-pass for cold accounts you have never talked to. Sales Kriya is a system that runs the work on live pipeline where the cost of an email to the wrong person is real. Sales Kriya itself runs on Claude Sonnet 4.6. This comparison is about wrong tool for enterprise pipeline, not about the model underneath.
Where Anthropic Skills wins
Anthropic Skills, in one sentence.
A packaged account-research skill on Claude Academy, launched August 20, 2026. Runs inside any Claude session and produces a company profile, buying-centre map, and recommended entry point using web search plus whatever tools the caller has connected.
- Free. Runs inside a Claude session with no procurement, no seat licence, no contract.
- Fast. A single prompt returns a company profile, a buying-centre map, and a suggested entry point in a few minutes.
- Good enough for first-pass research on a cold account you have never touched. Beats doing nothing, and beats a rep opening 14 browser tabs.
- Reads public signals well. Funding rounds, headcount deltas, product launches, and category framing come through cleanly when the web has indexed them.
- Right for solo operators, indie sellers, and small teams without a live enterprise pipeline where each outbound email carries reputational risk.
- Anthropic ships the skill honestly. It flags its own known gaps in the output (roster staleness, unverified titles) and does not hide that it queried no relationship source.
Where Sales Kriya is different
Sales Kriya, in one sentence.
Sales Kriya runs 20+ specialised AI agents inside live enterprise deals every week. The platform reads your stack and writes the work back. Buy it on its own, or pair it with a Forward-Deployed Sales Leader embedded inside your team.
- Every named stakeholder is verified against today's LinkedIn roster via Apify before it is surfaced to the rep. The skill has no live-roster feed. It cannot catch that a CRO named in a 2023 press release has since left the company.
- Reads CRM, email, calendar, and past call transcripts as first-class inputs. The skill's output verbatim: 'No prior relationship history was retrieved, because no relationship source was queried.' Sales Kriya knows there are three prior touchpoints and forty-five days of silence on the same account.
- Objections are quoted verbatim from the call transcript with timestamps. Not paraphrased, not model-summarised. The rep sees the exact words the buyer used.
- Twenty-plus agents share one deal memory. SCOUT, WEB, EDGE, PLAYBOOK, and BRIEF all read and write the same account row. The skill runs one session at a time and forgets everything when the window closes.
- Same output for every rep on the team on the same account. The skill runs on each caller's Claude session, so session context bleeds. Five reps asking the same question about the same account produce five different buying-centre maps.
- Verifies before it surfaces. If a stakeholder is not in today's roster, the agent flags 'verify before contacting' instead of recommending outreach. Names that fail the roster check never reach the rep as targets.
- Persistent deal memory across weeks, reps, and role changes. When the AE quits, the account row stays. When a new rep picks up the deal, the timeline, objections, and champion map are already there.
Side by side.
| Dimension | Anthropic Skills | Sales Kriya |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Packaged skill running inside a Claude session | Agentic system with persistent shared deal memory |
| Where stakeholder names come from | Web search plus model training data (cutoff January 2026) | Live LinkedIn roster pulled today via Apify, cross-checked against prior agent runs |
| Live LinkedIn roster verification | None. Cannot reach LinkedIn's live employee list. | Every named stakeholder confirmed against today's roster or flagged 'verify before contacting' |
| CRM, email, calendar context | Only what the caller has manually connected; the tested skill returned 'no relationship source queried' | First-class inputs. CRM record, email history, calendar traces, past call transcripts all read on every run. |
| Prior-touchpoint awareness | Treats every account as day one of research | Knows the touchpoint count, the last message date, and the silence pattern on the deal |
| Objection handling | Generic pitch framing generated from public signals | Verbatim objection quotes from timestamped call transcripts, tied to the specific stakeholder who said them |
| Consistency across reps | Session-scoped. Five reps on the same account produce five different maps. | Shared deal memory. Same account row, same output, every rep on the team. |
| Failure mode on stale data | Confidently recommends outreach to executives who left the company, or names that never matched the current roster | Fails safe. Unverified names are flagged, not surfaced as targets. |
| Deal memory persistence | None. The session closes and the context is gone. | Persistent per (customer, account). Survives rep changes, weeks of silence, and role handoffs. |
| Number of agents on one account | One, the running skill | 20+ specialised agents (SCOUT, WEB, EDGE, PLAYBOOK, BRIEF, and others) writing to the same memory |
| Outputs for the rep | One-shot profile, buying-centre map, entry recommendation | Call briefs, slide decks in the account's context, emails in the rep's voice, meeting recaps, call scores, next-action recommendations |
| Cost model | Free inside a Claude subscription | Per-team engagement, configured to integrations and engagement model |
| Speed to first useful output | A few minutes for one account | Up and running in 1 week across the live pipeline; full playbook codification in 2 to 4 weeks |
| Best-fit user | Solo operator or small team doing cold-account first-pass research | Founder, CRO, or RevOps lead running an active enterprise pipeline |
Best fit for Anthropic Skills
Anthropic's skill is right if you are a solo operator or small team doing first-pass research on cold accounts you have never talked to. It is free, it beats doing nothing, and it will surface funding rounds, headcount deltas, and public signals correctly.
Best fit for Sales Kriya
Sales Kriya is right if you have an active pipeline, cannot afford to send an email to a name that left the company 32 months ago, and need every rep on the team producing the same buying-centre map for the same account.
Frequently asked.
Is this a shot at Anthropic?
No. Sales Kriya runs on Claude Sonnet 4.6. The relationship is aligned, not adversarial. The argument is that a session-scoped skill querying the web is the wrong tool for live enterprise pipeline, where the cost of one email to the wrong person is a burned domain and a lost deal. That is a tool-shape argument, not a model-quality argument. Anthropic ships the skill honestly and flags its own gaps in the output. We just do not want reps trusting it on accounts that matter.
Can I use both together?
Yes, and that is often the right pattern. Use Anthropic's skill for the first-pass research on a cold account you have never talked to. Use Sales Kriya once the account is in your pipeline with real touchpoints, objections, and a champion to build. The skill costs you nothing on cold prospecting. Sales Kriya earns its keep once the deal is live and the cost of a wrong-name email is real.
What is the risk if we just use the skill on our live pipeline?
We ran the skill head-to-head with our agent fleet on one live enterprise fintech account on August 24, 2026. The skill recommended cold-emailing a Chief Revenue Officer whose appointment was announced 32 months ago, a Chief Strategy Officer who is not in the current employee roster, and a Chief Marketing Officer whose name does not appear anywhere in the current employee list. It missed six confirmed current stakeholders our agent fleet surfaced against the live LinkedIn roster. If a rep had trusted the output, three emails would have bounced or landed with 'who is this vendor writing to a person who does not work here.' Domain reputation goes, deal goes.
Why does the skill get stakeholder names wrong?
The model's training cutoff is January 2026. Any leadership change, exit, or reshuffle since then is not in the model's knowledge. It backfills with web search, but the web lags. Google indexed the December 2023 press release announcing the CRO's appointment. It may not have indexed his exit. LinkedIn title changes do not propagate to public search for weeks. Corporate about-us pages update quarterly at best. A skill without a live-roster feed cannot catch any of this. Sales Kriya pulls today's roster directly, so exits and role changes show up on the same day.
The skill runs on each rep's Claude session. Why does that matter for a team?
At one operator, session-scoped output is fine. At a team of ten, five reps asking the same question about the same account get five different buying-centre maps because prior session context bleeds into each run. At a team of a hundred, that is board-level forecast risk. Sales Kriya's twenty-plus agents share one deal memory row per account, so every rep on the team sees the same map on the same account. When the rep changes teams the memory stays. When the rep quits the memory stays.
When should we move from the skill to Sales Kriya?
When the account moves from cold to live pipeline. When a rep has had one real conversation, sent one real email, or booked one real meeting, the cost of a wrong-name follow-up starts compounding. That is the line. Before it, the skill is free and beats doing nothing. After it, the skill is the tool that will get your team's next email bounced back with 'this person no longer works here.'

The category read
Why this comparison is not feature-by-feature.
The 2010s sales-tech category is consolidating. The CEOs of 6sense, Gainsight, and Outreach all left in the last eighteen months. Clari is merging into Salesloft. The honest read on this comparison is not who has the better feature today, but whether the category each tool defines still earns the budget line it used to.
